Games with Gold for August has been announced by Xbox’s Major Nelson and includes the following titles:

• Slime Rancher – Aug 1-31, Xbox One
• Trials Fusion – Aug 16-Sep 15, Xbox One
• Bayonetta – Aug 1-15, Xbox 360
• Red Faction Armageddon – Aug 16-31, Xbox 360

I’m excited to see Bayonetta make an appearance – it’s still one of the coolest looking action games you’re going to find on the Xbox and with a PC version recently making an appearance it has got to be as good an advertisement you’re going to need for a 4K revival or sequel.

The last Red Faction game I’ve played was Guerilla which was an early 360 title a hell of a lot of fun in that blow up every scrap of a building kind of way. So if Armageddon has any of that it should hopefully keep people entertained.

I haven’t played a Trials game since the original game arrived on the 360 but throwing a ragdoll rider around crazy levels for a couple of hours at a time is a strong possibility come August. 🙂
