Gabe Aul of Microsoft posted details of the latest build of Windows 10 Mobile arriving on users phones who are part of the “Fast Ring” releases.

Despite some concerns about the process detailed in the above post, I was able to get my Lumia 930 (build 10581) upgraded quickly and be back up and running in a very short time. Time will tell how much better it is but a speedy update always helps.

The 10586 build is also the one that is on the new Lumia 950 and 950XL phones that have just started appearing in the wild so it looks like Windows 10 Mobile may now be unofficially “live”.
