As reported on Halo Waypoint, the latest round of updates for Halo: The Master Chief Collection bring a solid set of fixes to the game and might be a sign that the product is now at a point that updates are more about tweaking the game rather than fixing serious issues.
There are still some big ticket items in there such as fixes to Halo 3 networking and audio as well as parties but other changes (like better handling of multiplayer quitters) are more about adding value to a mature product and it is great to see.
Also mentioned is the news that the map Relic and the Halo 3: ODST campaign content will arrive next month in an update – ODST will go a long way to bringing players back and the improved multiplayer might just keep them there.
In the end, getting this right as the hype machine builds up for Halo 5: Guardians can only be a benefit for the future of the franchise.

Haven’t tried customs yet but playing Match Making with NIght Owl was a much better experience. Now I don’t have any excuse at why I’m so crap against some of these amazing Halo players. 🙂
