For at least the next ten days, GOG.com are running a massive sale on games in their catalogue with a regular stream of titles and bundles up for grabs every 12/24 hours respectively. For those willing to spend a little more, the following will be given away if you hit certain spending limits:
- System Shock 2 > $5US
- Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena > $15US
- Banished > $30US
On a related note, this is also the last day for subscribing to the Humble Monthly Bundle service and scoring Legend of Grimrock II as a freebie. If 3D-ish dungeon crawlers are your thing, it’s a good place to start.

Legends of Grimrock is an excellent series. I love them and own them both already :]. System Shock, Chronicles of Riddick, and Banished can stay right where they are in my opinion. I don’t need them :].

I have the first Grimrock – closest game I’ve seen that really gets what made Dungeon Master, one of my all time favourites, so great. I have to admit to liking Riddick – was a great looker on the original Xbox. 🙂

I liked Riddick too, but I have no need of it in my library on PC. I played it already and don’t really want to go back to it.
Grimrock is a classic game. Part 2 expanded on part 1 in every way. I recommend it if you haven’t played it yet.

I think I only returned to Riddick once more to find all of the cigarette packs, and that was prior to achievements! Thanks for the tip on Grimrock 2 – will have to check it out. 🙂
