I’m not a big believer in the paranormal.

Ghost Whisperer annoys me, as do those chat shows with the psychic of the month talking to dead loved ones. But thanks to my wife (who loves ghost stories) I’ve found something that actually lets me forget about the details and simply enjoy the ride.

Ghost Adventures is much like many other shows of the genre. Three men lock themselves in a haunted location overnight and record the results. The rest is left to you to decide.

In this show the evidence is backed up by little scientific explanation, or at least little that we see, however the enthusiastic team and clever editing help to pull you into their world. And sometimes that’s all you need.

It’s taken some time but I can can now call it a guilty pleasure. And one I can enjoy with my wife which, as always, is a bonus.
