It’s the big day for Halo fiends everywhere as the latest iteration in the franchise launches around the world. Those of you fortunate enough to have taken the digital purchase route should already be diving head first into it thanks to the game pre-loading and for the rest of us there’s the long install plus the 9GB (!) day one patch.
Best of luck everyone – hope the game turns out to have been worth the wait. We’ll definitely have things to say as we dive in too. Onward and reload! 🙂

The Late Night Session 
It is so worth the wait. Halo is back. The multiplayer is fantastic, as is the single player / co-op campaign. I can’t wait to play this more but I have to get some sleep 🙂

Just a comment on the digital version too – I also had to download the 9gb patch so even the digital buyers had to get the day one patch (well I did anyway).

After my ISP made it next to impossible to download the patch last night, it looks like it’s trickling through now so hopefully it will be all good for tonight. 🙂
