Starting tomorrow, a couple of us will be joining a sizeable contingent of the gaming masses and attending the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in sometimes sunny Melbourne. This year will be a little different with PlayStation finally having a sizeable presence in the Expo Hall after their success with PS4.

The panels on offer this time continue to be varied in terms of the content being represented – not just game reveals, there’s some on working in the industry, fostering communities both internally and externally and plenty in relation to local gamers. With Warren Spector (Thief, Deus Ex, Epic Mickey) providing the opening keynote followed by the first of this year’s Penny Arcade Q&As, I know I’m looking forward to what the weekend has in store.
