Big news on the backward compatibility front with word that The Orange Box, Valve’s compilation of their biggest and best titles, will now work on Xbox One. Consisting of Half-Life 2, Half Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2, it was one of the best value releases ever on the Xbox 360 with a staggering amount of content all packed onto a single disc.
Even if it were just Half-Life 2 released it would have been considered a big deal (it had previously been available on the original Xbox) as it is a brilliant game deserving of recognition. But the addition of the episodes, the debut of an innovative puzzler in Portal and multiplayer battles in Team Fortress 2 ensured that there was something in it for everyone.

I wish I had this digital on 360 – what a great collection of games 🙂
