Plenty more news came out of the last week for Elite Dangerous fans at Gamescom with news that the Close Quarters Combat (CQC) module, while débuting on Xbox One will also launch on PC once the game leaves the Xbox Preview Program.

Also announced was Horizons, the game’s first paid expansion that offers a season of content whose first update finally provides players with the much requested feature of planetary landings. Players who purchased the lifetime expansion pass will get all this for free.
