For a while now we’ve had some discussions here about creating more opportunities for people to get together and discuss their gaming interests. We often miss a lot of cool stuff on the site due to time constraints but that shouldn’t stop anyone else from talking about it and it’d be nice if we are able to help facilitate it.

So in what is a big first for us here we’re now running a forum! If you’re curious please visit thelatenightsession.boards.net or simply click on the forums link in the menu up top of the page – it’s still pretty new and content is slowly trickling in but it’s a start.

One thing that was important to us was that we try to create a safe environment that is moderated and allows people to get involved with a high degree of discretion. Though considered “old school” in terms of Internet technologies, forums are especially good at managing communities this way and we feel it deserves a chance.

We’ll see how it plays out and there’s definitely a lot to learn but I hope it will also be a positive experience too. 🙂
