Xbox One owners subscribed to the Insiders program may be beginning to see some changes on their consoles now in the form of the upcoming Creators Update that will coincide with the Windows 10 update of the same name.

Note that the frequency of updates that you receive will be dependent on how much you’ve contributed to the Insiders program in the past through feedback and surveys. Initially those with a higher ranking will move into the top tier which is equivalent to the Windows “Fast Ring” but the process is fluid so it is possible to move up and down tiers depending on your contribution over time.

The redesigned dash takes a little getting used to (and a lot less button clicks!) but it does feel more responsive and that is as good a start as any. For those wanting to jump into their games quickly, recently played titles also appear on this menu too which is a nice touch too. It’ll be interesting to see what else comes as further updates are pushed out.
