After “weeks of leaks”, the next Call of Duty game from developer Sledgehammer Games has been revealed. Call of Duty: WWII brings the franchise back to where it started and judging by the trailer below they are trying to mix in a Band of Brothers vibe in with their over the top action which could work well.

It’s been a while now since I’ve last played a CoD title – it was actually Sledgehammer’s last in Advanced Warfare – so I’m somewhat curious as to how the campaign side turns out. I wonder if this game might be a one-off change in direction to test the franchise. After all, you can’t really have the next game be Call of Duty: WWII II… can you?

The game will arrive on November 3 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Preorders will also get access to a private beta.
