I’m still playing a lot of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and it continues to offer genuine surprises amongst the numerous deaths I suffer everytime I take up the challenge.
The frying pan is one of those iconic weapons from PUBG which at first seems like a joke but through its unique characteristics can offer both offensive and defensive value. I honestly never thought I’d ever use it to kill another player (odds aren’t usually in your favour) but not only did it happen in a recent game but literally seconds after landing too…
Moments like this are why the game shines because every player can have their own unique stories to tell. I think I ended up finishing in the 30s for that game so even if I didn’t have a great finish the start was so good it more than made up for it.
Admittedly not every game is going to be like this as odds are always against you but those few seconds from a random game is something that I’ll happily talk about for the next week. 🙂
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is out now for PC and Xbox One.
