I suppose it’s better late than never but we’ve finally received word of what’s to come for Xbox Gold subscribers. It seems like a very understated selection of games this time and playing it VERY safe. The games for June are:
- NHL19 (Xbox One, June 1-30)
- Rivals of Aether (Xbox One, June 16-July 15)
- Portal: Still Alive (Xbox 360 BC, June 1-15)
- Earth Defense Force 2017 (Xbox 360 BC, June 16-30)
Portal is easily the standout as it’s an undisputed classic but it’s also a game that’s likely to already be a part of many gamer’s libraries. Rivals of Aether looks a lot like a pixel Smash Brothers-esque brawler and it’s the second month of an Earth Defense Force game being included so I wonder if a new game is incoming… E3 is a little over a week away so we’ll find out soon enough. 😉
The Late Night Session 
Oof, that’s a noticeably weaker lineup than I’ve seen in previous months. Are they running out of games? 🙂

With them pushing a lot of titles onto the Game Pass service you might be right! Downside is there is still plenty of terrible Xbox games they could give away… 😉
