Now installing… Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Will the Force be with EA and developer Respawn in the form of their new game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order? We will know soon enough as the game becomes available VERY soon! Clocking in at over 48Gb for Xbox One X it’s only the second Star Wars PC/console game from EA with a single player campaign (the other being Battlefront II) since they secured exclusive rights from Disney/Lucasfilm back in 2013. The game puts you into the shoes of a Jedi Padawan who has been in hiding since the Jedi purge that had taken place during the film Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Forced to reveal himself to save a friend, he quickly finds himself pursued by the Empire’s agents who are specially equipped to deal with people having his particular talents…

The game footage is giving me enough vibes to remind me of Tomb Raider with a fair share of Jedi Knight and even The Force Unleashed too so if it ticks enough boxes it could be a welcome return to the kinds of Star Wars games I’ve been waiting a long time for. I’m keeping my fingers crossed… and maybe some lightsabers too. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

  1. Couldn’t resist hey? ๐Ÿ™‚

It seems some of the reviews say the combat is like Dark Souls. Dammit – now I can’t resist and downloading too.

  2. I’m going to say that if you even have a remote interest in Star Wars, you’ll love this game. It is a great game on its own merits, and really is a combination of Tomb Raider, the Uncharted series, Dark Souls mixed with some Titanfall mechanics. Just fantastic.
