Via Ars Technica: How Homeworld Almost Got Lost in 3D Space

For a while now Ars Technica has been running a series of videos called “War Stories” where they interview developers about the trials faced when building some of the most iconic games in the industry. The most recent was with Rob Cunningham of Blackbird Interactive who discussed the challenges encountered when he was part of the team developing Homeworld – the groundbreaking 3D RTS. With his studio now working on Homeworld 3 it’s a good opportunity for fans to learn a little more about the history of the original game too.

The site post on Ars can be found here but the video is below if you’re keen to jump in qiickly. I highly recommend checking out the other entries in the series as there’s bound to be a couple of other games or developers that you recognise. The episodes are a good size too for easy viewing.
