Fun with covid (not) has slowed me down a lot this month but thankfully the output of games landing on platforms has not. This month’s Xbox Games with Gold reminds me of what we had April in terms of its mix of old and new so opinions may vary but most of them are new enough for me! 🙂

• Yoku’s Island Express (Xbox, May 1-31)
• The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk (Xbox, May 16-Jun 15)
• Hydro Thunder Hurricane (Xbox 360 BC, May 1-15)
• Viva Pinata Party Animals (Xbox 360 BC, May 16-31)

The only one of these I can say much about is Hydro Thunder Hurricane which was a spinoff of the Atari Games arcade title and it’s not bad as a pick up and play racer. Everything else is a blank slate for me and worth a look. I wonder if we’re not going to see any big titles or news drop in relation to Games with Gold until the recently announced Xbox/Bethesda event in June arrives. If things change it’ll happen after that is my guess… We’ll see!
