I can’t remember the last time I’ve jumped up and said “you need to get this game” but if you have a PC or Xbox you really do need to check out Hades. It’s on Game Pass until the end of the month so you still have time to “try before you buy” while it’s discounted and before it leaves the service. It’s also a Play Anywhere title so you get the cross buy/play benefits of both a PC and Xbox version. It’s been almost a year since I shared my thoughts on the game and my feelings haven’t changed – Hades is extraordinarily well designed and continues to set a high watermark for action games and roguelikes. Any time I start the game I have to keep playing until I complete a run or two… 🙂
