Star Wars sale now on at GOG.com

A Star Wars Day (May the 4th!) promo has just been launched at Good Old Games where you can pick up the majority of their Star Wars titles for cheap. In addition, three new titles have arrived for fans as well: Rebel Assault 1&2Jedi Outcast: Jedi Knight II and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

There are two bundles:

Star Wars Blaster Bundle (save around 37%) includes:

  • X-Wing Special Edition
  • TIE Fighter Special Edition
  • X-Wing Alliance
  • Rebellion
  • Galactic Battlegrounds Saga
  • Rogue Squadron 3D

Star Wars Saber Bundle (save around 76%) includes:

  • Dark Forces
  • Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight
  • Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
  • Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
  • Knights of the Old Republic
  • Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
  • Empire at War Gold Pack
  • Battlefront II
  • Republic Commando
  • Starfighter

The Rebel Assault titles didn’t make the cut for either bundle. These were unique in that they were FMV driven games. The first became one of the early “must have” games for CD-ROM owners but unfortunately shows its age now. The sequel holds up a little better though – in fact it may remind players a lot of the Rogue Squadron sequels on Gamecube.

The Jedi Knight sequels are powered by the Quake III engine and still do a good job of letting you slice and dice like any good Jedi can.

The sale ends in eight days.

In addition, many of these games have now become available on Steam; so if that is your platform of choice go check them out.
