Continuing Ubisoft’s 30th birthday celebrations, the company is giving away another of their classic games. This time around it’s Beyond Good and Evil, a platformer/adventure from 2003 that tasked a reporter named Jade with preventing a threat to her home planet.
The game was another from the mind of Michel Ancel of Rayman fame, who has recently been revealing some morsels of information in relation to the long awaited sequel to BG&E so the timing is perfect.
I still have the game on the original Xbox and it was a great looking title that played really well and won over a lot of other players too on its release. An HD version was also released on 360/PS3.
The game will be available from the 12th of October and you’ll be able to get it at the Ubisoft Club.
Note – The Crew is September’s free game which you still have a few days left to pick up.
I loved Beyond Good and Evil. I’m sad the the alleged sequel seems to be caught up in some never ending development loop 😦

I was hoping to see this sooner too – I really liked the old art style and would have been happy with that again but it seems we might be getting a more realistic looking game with the sequel.
