Oblivion arrives on Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Good news for Xbox Elder Scrolls fans – early Xbox 360 RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is now a backward compatible title.

I have a lot of great memories of playing this as it was one of the first games I picked up with my Xbox 360 and was probably also the first that I bought DLC for… not the horse armour! After being overwhelmed by the Xbox predecessor Morrowind, the gameplay tweaks made in Oblivion really helped drag me in and made me a fan of this style of open world RPG.

In addition Astropop, Trine 2, and Medal of Honor: Airborne are also on friendly terms with the Xbox One so it seems that Microsoft are keen to get the numbers up as we approach the end of the year.
