In light of the upcoming Shadow of War sequel Warner Brothers are providing a free play weekend for Shadow of Mordor across Xbox One and Steam from now until July 9. The latest update to the game will also allow players to carry their top nemesis and follower over to the new game as well.

All versions (including PlayStation 4) are heavily discounted too and what’s even better is you can pick up the Game of the Year Edition for not much more. I picked the GOTY edition up for $8 AU on the Xbox Marketplace. Go and take a look and pick this good game up while you can.
