Obsidian Entertainment’s new RPG is just around the corner and for anyone who has pre-ordered or subscribed to Xbox Game Pass you can start downloading The Outer Worlds right now. Clocking in at 37GB on Xbox One it’ll be interesting to see what comes of a game that looks like a cross between Fallout and Borderlands. It was an unexpected surprise to see this launch on Game Pass – though it was probably planned the moment Microsoft bought the developer – so it’s making for another high profile release that should help in getting players onto the platform.
The Outer Worlds launches on October 25 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
