March’s Xbox Games with Gold have been announced and I’m looking forward to it thanks to one of the games being an instant play for me. The games in question are:

• Batman: The Enemy Within (Mar 1-31, Xbox One)
• Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (Mar 16-Apr 15, Xbox One)
• Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 (Mar 1-15, Xbox 360 BC)
• Star Wars Battlefront (Mar 16-31, Xbox 360 BC)

Of the four games I’m really looking forward to getting back to playing Shantae again as I had played the game previously and especially it’s predecessor Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse when they were both on Game Pass. They’re great platform games with a mountain load of charm and Half-Genie Hero is the best looking one yet on Xbox.

Also a little curious about Sonic Generations. I’ve not spent a huge amount of time playing games starring the blue hedgehog apart from the numerous emulated versions of early games that appeared in retro compilations or on Xbox Live Arcade so I’m hoping this might be a pleasant surprise for me.
