April’s Xbox Games with Gold announcement was kept to the last moment but a few astute gamers picked up what we’d be seeing after the first batch launched a day early. Today the official news via Xbox Wire confirmed the rumours and also filled in the blanks. The games to be available are:

• Project CARS 2 (Apr 1-30, Xbox One)
• Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle (Apr 16-May 15, Xbox One)
• Fable Anniversary (Apr 1-15, Xbox 360 BC)
• Toybox Turbos (Apr 16-30, Xbox 360 BC)

This month feels a little front loaded for me because I’m more familiar with Project CARS 2 and Fable Anniversary than the other two titles however I think this month all the games will likely get a lot of attention as there’ll be plenty of gamers looking for new games to play while keeping safe distances from their friends, colleagues and neighbours.
