Microsoft have announced a subscription service that is coming to Xbox called Game Pass.
It what appears to be a cross between Netflix and EA Access this upcoming subscription service will allow you to access to hundreds of games as long as you continue to pay the monthly subscription fee.
The good news is that you’ll be able to download the games and then play them offline up to 30 days (or whatever is left of of the month you’ve paid for). So it isn’t a streaming service, but a flexible one for those of you that have slower internet connections.
Another good benefit is that you’ll save 20% on the game in question that you are playing, if you would like to buy it forever, plus 10% on DLC while the game is available via the Xbox Game Pass.
Sounds like more choice for Xbox One owners – which is great. I don’t think it will tempt gamers who buy a lot of games already but it will definitely benefit those on a tight budget, or gamers who like to continually trade their games.

Will be interesting to see if it takes off… and if it translates to Windows 10 in the future.
