If you’re part of the Alpha ring for Xbox One Insiders you’ll likely get (or have) a notification for your first system update of 2018.

Details of it can be found on Major Nelson and the additions sound useful with an enhanced achievement tracker, a Do Not Disturb feature, more options for power saving times and the ability to schedule when to switch between light and dark themes.

On the Xbox One X the update weighed in at one gigabyte making it one of the largest system updates I’ve seen in a long time. It’s good to see that Microsoft aren’t keeping quiet on the software front after their console launch at the end of last year.
