One of the surprising announcements over the last month was the imminent release of Project Cars 3. This new racing game by Slightly Mad Studios (now part of the Codemasters’ family) is out August 28th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
I’m still getting plenty of gaming time in with Project Cars 2, particularly on PC via VR. The next game in the series looks to improve on the career mode progression substantially, and provide a lot more customisation options. It will feature over 200 cars and 140 track layouts. Better controller support is also on the cards as well, which is welcome news. VR support is also available via the PC version at launch and for me, this is simply amazing. I am looking forward to trying all the new cars and tracks via my Oculus Quest.
